Ali is an experienced clinical psychologist with over 10 years working in the NHS. She specialises in working with children, adolescents and young adults (0 – 25yrs) with a broad range of presenting difficulties. She also has specific training in working with parents, helping them gain confidence in using different strategies to better manage their children’s behaviour. She uses systemic thinking to inform her work as well as CBT and narrative therapy techniques.

Alexia Claire Traverse-Healy

EFT Practitioner

Alexia trained with one of only a handful of EFT Masters and the founder of Matrix Reimprinting, Karl Dawson. She later trained with the creator of Matrix Birth Reimprinting, Sharon King. Further training with other top level experts in the field followed and continues; she is passionate about her work and about the journey of learning. She is a member of the professional EFT governing body AAMET.

Alexia has had a successful practice for over two years and is proud to now be part of the team at Dulwich Therapy Rooms. Her background in the arts and education means that she often attracts clients who are either artistic or who are looking to express that side of themselves. She has a gifted insight and a generous energy and can hold a safe space for you to gently uncover and explore deep seated issues, with a view to clearing them from your way.

Although Alexia treats a wide spectrum of issues with her clients, her specialties include: anxiety, depression, negative patterns, phobias, relationship issues, parenting, fertility, weight and body issues, self-esteem issues and life purpose. She is dedicated to guiding people to their full potential and deserved happiness.

Su is an experienced clinical psychologist with over 10 years working in the NHS. She works with adults with a range of difficulties such as anxiety, panic, trauma and depression. Su also specializes in sexual health and is accredited as a Psycho-sexologist by the EFS (European Federation of Sexology)/ESSM (European Society of Sexual Medicine).
She works with both individuals and couples who have problems in their sex lives. Such problems include pain during sex, low desire, and erection or ejaculatory problems. She works closely with medical professionals involved (where indicated) to work with the medical factors that may be contributing to the problem.

Aoife Drury

Psychosexual & Relationship Therapist

Aoife is a qualified Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist with more than 10 years experience working in mental health. Aoife’s work involves supporting people with a wide range of challenges, from recognised mental health conditions (addictions, eating disorders, psychosis), to feelings of anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. However, Aoife’s specialty is in Psychosexual and Couples Therapy where she has worked treating clients both at 56 Dean Street (part of the NHS) and privately.

As well as traditional "talking therapy", Aoife uses other techniques and exercises that can be helpful including mindfulness and guided visualisation with accompanying training in CBT, which she incorporates into her practice. Aoife is LGBTQI and KINK Aware and committed to creating a therapeutic environment where couples and individuals of all backgrounds and gender-identities feel safe and supported.

Jane Ellis

Chartered Counselling Psychologist

Jane works with common mental health problems, such as anxiety, depression and low self-esteem using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). With both an empathic nature and years of experience she can enable people to understand their difficulties quickly and break negative patterns that might be holding them back. Further, Jane is a humanistic counsellor, systemic & family therapist, and also offers brief solution-focused therapy and schema therapy.
In her private practice Jane can offer a flexible and responsive approach, and a high standard psychological intervention that is only possible as an independent therapist.

Jane draws on 20 years of NHS experience, which includes working in a primary care ‘IAPT’ talking therapies service for anxiety and depression (GP referred). Before that she has worked in secondary care with people with complex mental health problems as well as with adults with learning disabilities, leading a clinical team in both primary care and learning disability services.

Jane is Chartered by the British Psychological Society (BPS), registered with the Health & Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP).
